Project Description: |
The objective of this award is to enhance the
effectiveness of coal as a fuel-lean reburning fuel
by taking advantages of the following three mechanisms of NO reduction: (l)
NO reduction by volatiles; (2) NO reduction by char; and (3) NO reduction by
nitrogenous species released by char under oxidizing conditions. |
