Project Description

Project Description:

A novel tri-generation concept is proposed that aims at a more efficient conversion of CO2 in flue gas into industrially useful products without CO2 separation and recovery.  This is an inovative concept for using CO2 along with moisture and oxygen for tri-reforming (a synergistic combination of CO2 reforming; steam reforming; and partial oxidation) of natural gas with flue gases of fossil fuel-based electric power plants; to produce syngas (CO+H2) for tri-generation of liquid fuels; chemicals; and electricity.
